TIRAUMEA
CRICKET AT PONGAROA. (“Times-Age” Special.) During the weekend Tiraumea played a cricket match against Pongaroa at Pongaroa, the game resulting in a win for Tiraumea on the first innings. Scores were:— Tiraumea 170 (C. Raleigh 62, G. Curtis 40, L. Curtis 21). Pongaroa, first innings, 36 (H. Harold 13); second innings, 6 wickets down for 114 (H. Bryant 33, S. Raleigh 31, S. Eunson 23). Bowling for Pongaroa, Bryant took 5 wickets for 40 and Ferrick 3 for 49. Bowling for Tiraumea, J. Liverton took 5 wickets for 13 and G. Hart 5 for 22.
