MORMON PARISH CONFERENCE. GATHERING AT GLADSTONE. (“Times-Age” Special.) At this session Elder Cowley, and at the afternoon meeting, the president of the Mission delivered most stirring addresses. The singing of the choir, under the conductorships of elders Dastrup, of Wellington, and Crawford, of Hastings, were a feature of the conference. Mrs Roka Enoka presided at the organ. Tar Sealing. Good progress is being made with the tar sealing of the main highway from Tuhitarata to Pirinoa and given fine weather the work should be completed early this week. It is considered by motorists that this section, when finished, will be the finest highway in the Wairarapa and the work reflects the greatest credit on the County Engineer, Mr Toogood, Overseer Davis and his capable staff. Motor Accident. A motor collision occurred at Matawhero bridge early on Thursday evening whefi cars driven by Mrs G. Sutherland and Mr Herangi collided.
