HEALTH CAMPS
EGG DRIVE NETS OVER £7. DONATION TO THE FUNDS. As a result of the egg drive organised among Masterton schools on Wednesday, a sum of £7 16s 2d has been raised as a donation to the Health Camp Fund. The actual receipts from eggs were £5 6s Id, the balance being made up of cork donations. Details of the .donations at the various schools are:—Wairarapa College, 30s m donations; Central, 261d0z. eggs, 8s Id in donations; East. 6doz/eggs. 2s 3d in donations; West, 7doz. eggs; West Side. 7doz. eggs, 3d in donations; St. Patrick’s School and St. Bride’s Convent, 13!.d0z. eggs, 8s lOd in donations; Lansdowne, ll.Jdoz. eggs, 8d in donations. ■ The drive was organised by the postmaster, Mr M. M. Simpson, on behalf of the Health Camp Committee and the arrangements were undertaken by Mr F. Dean. The committee wishes to thank the headmasters and school staffs and the pupils for their assistance.
