TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD

MEETING IN MASTERTON. The Townswomen’s Guild held the first monthly meeting for the year in the Y.M.C.A. Hall on Tuesday afternoon, there being a good attendance. Members were welcomed back after the holiday period by the president, Mrs W. H. Judd. Several members responded to the Roll Call, “Health Hints,” many useful hints being given. Members were requested to bring to the next meeting the potatoes grown for competition. There was an interesting display of old-fashioned household gadgets. Nominations were received for the office of president and for the committee, preparatory to the annual ballot to be held in March. Afternoon tea and the singing of the Guild Ode brought the meeting to a close.
