FIFTIETH PLAY

BY BERNARD SHAW. Mr Bernard Shaw is engaged in writing his 50th play,.at-present entitled, "In Good King Charles' Golden Days.” According to Mr Shaw the play is largely about Charles 11. and has nothing at all to do with Nell Gwyn. A number of very interesting people of the period, such as Isaac Newton. George Fox. and James 11.. 'hen Duke of York, will appear. Since he considers that there is no fundamental difference between what was written for the stage and for the screen, apart from the median ism oi the film, the ultimate medium of itr presentation will not bo chosen until the play is nearly complete.
