CLEANING OF TAPS

A NEW IDEA. The cleaning of taps is one of the most frequent and irksome of the household duties, and most housewives will welcome this idea. That is, to lacquer or white enamel them. To lacquer, follow this metnod: Clean the taps thoroughly with some reliable metal polish. Then very carefully apply the lacquer, putting a little on at a time. Be careful not to breathe on the tap, and if it is necessary to touch it use tissue paper. Allow to dry thoroughly before using the tap. To enamel taps, . clean thoroughly. Apply a thin coat of good enamel. Follow this up by the application of another coat when the first is dry. Leave until perfectly dry before .using. This job is easily and cheaply done.
