COLLISION WITH LORRY

MOTOR CYCLIST DIES FROM INJURIES.

WANGANUI, January 31.

Admitted to the Wanganui Public Hospital at 10.35 a.m. today with severe head injuries, Ronald Rossiter, aged 21, died shortly before 2 o’clock this afternoon.

Mr Rossiter, who lived at Holmwood Road, Mary Bank, was riding a motor-cycle in the direction of Palmerseton North when he collided with a motor-lorry coming off the Marton Road in Turakina. The injured man was unconscious when he was brought into the Wanganui Hospital by the St John Free Ambulance. His parents reside in Dannevirke.
