PROPOSALS IN ALBERTA. PETITION TO BE PRESENTED TO KING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. EDMONTON, January 30. Adopting a resolution urging the Premier (Mr W. Aberhart) to ignore the Supreme Court disallowance of Social Credit legislation, and to go ahead and put Social Credit into full effect, the Social Credit League of Alberta announced that it was considering a proposal to present a petition to the King, during the Royal visit, requesting the Royal Assent for disputed Acts to control the Press and banking.
