Greytown No 1 Group: Cows under test 1114; monthly group average, 7691 b milk, 33.91 b fat; highest herd average. 22 cows, 531 b fat: highest cow, 751 b fat. Greytown No 2 Group: Cows under test. 1198; monthly group average, 8261 b milk. 34.31 b fat; highest herd average, 64 cows, 441 b fat; highest cow, 781 b fat. Gladstone Group: Cows under test, 1499; ; monthly group average, 7761 b milk, 37.41 b milk; highest herd average 46 cows, 461 b fat; highest cow, 911 b fat. Featherston Group: Cows under test, 2244; monthly group average, 7601 b milk, 33.31 b fat; highest herd average, 115 cows, 401 b fat; highest cow, 741 b fat. Martinborough Group: Cows under test, 1519; monthly group average, 7001 b milk, 31.31 b fat; highest herd average, 92 cows, 391 b fat; highest cow, 721 b fat. Pahautea Group: Cows under test, 617: monthly group average, 6711 b milk. 32.91 b fat; highest herd average, 43 cows, 401 b fat; highest cow, 711 b fat. Association summary (figures for corresponding period of previous year given in parentheses): Cows under test 8.191 (8.305); monthly association average 7561 b milk (7011 b milk), 33.91 b fat (31.61 b fat); highest herd average, 22 cows, 531 b fat (121 cows, 461 b fat); highest cow, 911 b fat (841 b fat).
