GLADSTONE CLUB’S MEETING
RECORD ENTRIES ON SATURDAY.
GATHERING LARGELY ATTENDED. The Gladstone Sports Club held its most successful meeting on record on Saturday in beautifully fine weather. The fixture drew record entries and attracted a very large attendance. Excellent entries were received and the standard of performance throughout was high. The horse events in particular were keenly contested and the competition was very close. The meeting was admirably organised and controlled and credit for its success is due to the secretary, Mr A.
