SWIMMING
MASTERTON CLUB. EVENTS FOR TOMORROW NIGHT. The Masterton Swimming Club will hold a carnival in the local swimming
baths tomorrow night. There has been increased interest taken in the weekly meetings of the club, and many exciting finishes have been witnessed. The Masterton Club is deserving of warm congratu-
lations on the excellent work it is carrying out in assisting in the teaching of swimming. The programme of events is as follows: — 50 yards junior boys’ freestyle handicap; 25 yards junior girls' freestyle handicap; 25 yards intermediate girls’ freestyle handicap; 75 yards intermediate boys’ freestyle handicap; 5C yards senior ladies’ freestyle handicap; 100 yards senior men’s freestyle handicap; 100 yards open breaststroke handicap; 109 yards open backstroke handicap; 25 yards junior girls’ breaststroke handicap; 25 yards junior boys breaststroke handicap; 50 yards intermediate boys’ breaststroke handicap; 25 yards open) scratch race; junioi girls’ diving (compulsory dive hunch); junior boys’ diving (compulsory dive hunch); senior ladies’ dive (compulsory dive hunch); senior men’s dive (compulsory dive hunch); 100 yards teams relay freestyle handicap.
