The weather is dull but fine for the second day of the Pahiatua Racing Club’s meeting. The attendance is good, and the track in excellent order. Won by half a head, with Titter a head further back. Time, 1.19.

The midsummer meeting of the Auckland Racing Club was opened today at Ellerslie. The weather is' overcast, but the course is in excellent order and there is a large attendance.
