There is a large crowd present and the track is in good order. Results:— WAVERLEY HANDICAP, l£m. 8 Bill Grattan, scr (F. Holmes) 1 2 Shadeland, 36yds (Bennett) 2 1 Violet Wrack, scr (Doyle) 3 Scr. —Dolaruan, Parachute.

Won by two lengths, with Violet Wrack half a length further back. Time, 3.27.

STEWARDS’ HANDICAP. 11m. ■ 1 Regal, 12yds (Townley) 1 12 Seascape, 12yds (Frost) 2 4 Waitari Jack, 12yds (Edwards) .... 3 AU started.

■Won by two lengths. Time, 3.21 3/5. Coquette fell at the two furlongs post, interfering with Iron Duke and Great Joy.
