SPANISH REFUGEES
CONVEYED BY WARSHIPS. (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) PARIS, January 26. The last train from Barcelona arrived at Port Bou with 250 women and children. The British destroyer Hostile and the American cruiser Omaha and two British freighters have arrived at Marseilles with refugees. Small parties of Republican militiamen are reaching French ports aboard trawlers and other small craft.
BEYOND BARCELONA
THE INSURGENT ADVANCE. (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) BURGOS, January 26. After the occupation of Barcelona a section of the army continued northward and is advancing to Badalona. where there is a fairly heavy concentration of Republican troops.
REFUGEE PROBLEM
AMBASSADORS VISIT FOREIGN OFFICE.

The French and Spanish ambassadors called at the Foreign Office, and it is probable that the Spanish refugee problem was under discussion.
