BREN GUN
PRODUCTION IN BRITAIN. NOW ON WAR TIME SCALE. (British Official Wireless.? RUGBY. January 24. “The War Minister, Mr Hore-Belisha, visited the Royal small-arms factory at Enfield today and fired 36 rounds from a Bren gun at a 200-yards target. He declared that production was now on a wartime scale. The gun is composed of 172 parts and passes through 3174 operations, in which 4987 gauges are employed.
