KERIWHAKAPAPA’S LETTER
. (To the Editor.) Sir. —After reading Keriwhakapapa’s Jetter. I capitulate, a knock-out in the I'n-st round. Joe Louis and all combined. There are certain suggestions 1 fully appreciate, viz., as party loader. we meet every April 1. Quite an appropriate day. as' everyone will be on hand that day to pay their social security dues, which will be a blessing to one and all, perhaps. I presume that is why the first of April was the appointed date —“All Fools’ Day,” when everyone will meet to celebrate it. My party would certainly not demolish the Opaki ramp, and wo would not sit on wet logs—armchairs for us. The surplus spoken of. to take the Opaki football team to Mangamalioe. would be very acceptable and wo will give Keriwhakapapa an invitation to the function. Well. Keriwhakapapa has converted me to the Labour cause. There will be no loafers under the new Minister, and the Loans Board will get it if no money is available for public works, and finally the Prime Minister will make us tighten our belts. Now everyone is happy. Business people need not worry about any restrictions and even if they have to go out of business altogether the Government will keep them. I thank your correspondent for converting me. which is only natural after reading his letter. I don't know whether he has spelt his name correctly and 1 don't think he lives al Mount Bruce. We will have a good time when meeting each other to shake hands and drink the health of Labour and Socialism. —Yours, etc., M. W. WELCH. Mauriceville. January 18.
