ILLEGAL SALE OF LIQUOR
AGENT FINED £3O. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, January 20. Henry George Berry, agent for an outside hotel, was fined £3O in default six weeks’ imprisonment, for illegal sale of liquor. He was allowed a month in which to pay. The police evidence was that liquor was delivered 55 minutes after ordering, though no supplies had been received in the meantime.
