OBITUARY

MR J. H. CAMERON. The death occurred in Wellington yesterday of Mr James Hugh Cameron, of “Rewa Rewa,” Tinui, Masterton. The late Mr Cameron was the son of the late Mr Allan Cameron, one of the earliest Wairarapa settlers. He had resided in the' Wairarapa practically all his life, and was the owner of “Rewa Rewa” and “Te Paraetai” stations. The late Mr Cameron, who had been in ill-health for some time, is survived by a widow, one son, Mr L. D. Cameron ,and a daughter, Mrs W. P. Laing. There are also two brothers. Mr C. A. Cameron and Dr Robert Cameron, and a sister, Mrs J. E. Laing. The late Mr Cameron was widely known in the East Coast district, and sincere sympathy will be felt with the family and relatives in their bereavement.
