CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Matthew’s Church at 8 a.m. tomorrow. Mr V. W. Joblin will be the preacher at 11 a.m., and the Rev T. V. Pearson at 7 p.m. The vicar will be the preacher at Kuripuni in the evening.

At the Methodist Church, Pastor C. H. Skuse will conduct both services on Sunday next. He will speak on the subjects, “Seeing Diamonds in Dust” and “Are Christians Forgiving?” and challenging addresses are anticipated. At Kuripuni, Mr F. G. Rutter will conduct the morning service, and Mr C. R. Goudge will be the preacher in the evening.

The members of the Masterton Bap.ist Fellowship will resume their meetings after the holiday period on Tuesday, January 24, in the Odd Fellows' Hall. The speaker will be the Rev H. L. Sherburd. Commencing on February 14, these meetings will in future be held fortnightly, on every second and fourth Tuesday of each month, under the direction of the Lower Hutt Baptist Church, which will arrange the speakers for each service. Local and visiting Baptists or friends are given a warm invitation to attend these meetings.
