PRE-WEDDING PARTY
PRESENTATION AT WAINGAWA. A very enjoyable gathering was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs H. Angove, Waingawa, on Tuesday, when Miss A? Angove and Mr W. McDonald, who are to be married shortly, were the central-figures. The Kiatere Harrier Club members were present in strong force. A pleasant time was spent at games and competitions. Messrs. D. Askew (cornet), C. Bell (accordion) and T. Burns (steel guitar) gave musical items. On behalf of the members of the Kiatere Harrier Club. Mr J. L. Burns presented Mr W. McDonald with a set of carvers and a bread knife. Mr McDonald suitably replied.
