M ASTERTON-OPAK I CLUB. BAD CONDITIONS CAUSE LOW SCORING. In the opinion of some of the participants in Saturday’s competition the weather conditions were the hardest of the season for accurate shooting. This is borne out by the low scores registered and that the top total was six points below the range limit of 143. A strong gusty wind blew in from the left, necessitating as much as fifteen degrees windage. Scores: —

As the club will visit Petone next Saturday there will be no competition on the local range on that date, but the competition will be resumed with a double series of 10 shots at 300 yds and a single of 10 at 600yds on January 22.
