The police ordered women and children indoors tonight while nearly the whole male population of the holiday town of Paignton hunted a leopard which had escape’d from a private zoo, after mauling its keeper. The whole of Devonshire was warned by radio, mob'- ■ ile police touring the countryside, and.-; special constables standing by, armedand ready to proceed to the place where the animal was sighted.
