LABOUR RADIO STATION
NEW DEMAND BY FEDERAL MINISTER. FORMATION OF PUBLIC COMPANY. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. SYDNEY, January 10. The Postmaster-General, Mr Cameron, has served a new demand en the broadcasting station 2KY, requiring that, before a new licence is granted, the Labour Council must agree to form a public company and to operate and control the station.
At present 2KY s controlled by a wireless committee elected yearly by ballot from delegates of the unions affiliated with the Labour Council.
