As a result of the capture of Borjas Blancas, the rebels are only four miles from the vital Lerida-Tarragona road. The rebels claim that they have taken 23,885 prisoners in the present offensive. _ A communique issued by General Franco claims that the Catalan advance is brilliantly continuing. A Barcelona.communique claims 2000 Italian casualties at Borjas Blancas, where a slight loss of ground is admitted under pressure of sixty tanks, but the rebels were heavily repulsed at Poblade, Grandella and Cubells. AIR RAID CASUALTIES. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) BARCELONA, January 5. It is officially stated that 27 persons were killed and 24 wounded when trains were bombed yesterday.
