PIRINOA

PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs Didsbury were the guests of Miss N. McDougall for the holidays. Mrs W. O’Neil, Kaiparoro, was the guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs McIntosh, during the holidays. Misses Lemon, Wanganui, are staying with their sister, Mrs J. R. Te Whaiti.

Messrs Tom Smith and Hiroti, Wanganui, are visiting relatives in this district.

Mr and Mrs F. Lovegrove were the guests of their son, Mr H. Lovegrove, Featherston, for the week-end. Mr Roger Pearce, Wairoa, spent the Christmas holidays with Mr and Mrs Taurau, Kohinui.

Mr Jones, Wellington, is staying with Mr and Mrs Bragg. The death occurred recently of Mrs McLaren, widow of the late Mr R. McLaren, for some years a resident of this district. Mr S. Hall, Kumenga, is a son.

The late Mr Bolstad, who was the victim of a motor cycle fatality recently, for some time resided in this district.

Mr and Mrs Aitchison, Martinborough, are spending the holidays at Whangamoana beach. Mr R. McDougall has donated a challenge shield for competition by the members of the local tennis club.

Mr and Mrs L. Bell spent the Christmas holidays with Mr and Mrs Bell, Wellington. Mrs Priest and family are visiting Mr and Mrs Biggar, Pahiatua. Mr and Mrs J. Atkinson and family have returned from Eastbourne. Mr J. McDonald was a visitor to Danhevirke during the holidays.
