OBITUARY

MRS ANNIE MARY KJAR. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital yesterday of Mrs Annie Mary Kjar, wife of Mr Lars Kjar, of Masterton. The late Mrs Kjar was born at Napier 65 years ago, her parents having arrived there from Norway. The family then settled at Hastwell. After her marriage, which took place at Masterton, she resided in the Hastwell district for a period, moving to Masterton .26 years ago. She is survived by a widower and five daughters and three sons—Mesdames Hadley (Stratford), Butchart (Hawera), Millward, Everden and Butcher (Masterton), and Messrs H. Kjar (Palmerston North), and L. and M. Kjar (Masterton). The funeral will take place tomorrow and will leave the residence, 19 Lincoln Road, at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
