The recent high wind which prevailed in Palmerston North almost spelt disaster for an office boy. While delivering a sum of money in notes to a bank, he had the misfortune to fall from his bicycle, and the money wa§ scattered in all directions. A passerby, not knowing the source of the flying banknotes, lost no time in availing himself of the opportunity which offered. However, in response to an advertisement, most of the money, that is. all that was found, was* returned to its owners.
