MASTERTON GUN CLUB
CHRISTMAS SHOOT. A NUMBER OF POSSIBLES. Members of the Masterton Gun Club held the usual. Christmas shoot on Saturday afternoon. A record number of shooters were present and some good shooting was witnessed. Before commencing the shoot, Mr C. E. Grey referred to the death of Mr J. C. Smith and reminded members of the valuable assistance he had rendered the club. Members stood in silence as a mark of respect to his memory. Four trophy matches were fired, and the following scored possibles: Jim McKenzie, C. E. Grey, J. Udy, D. McLachlan, Jack McKenzie, G. Bretherton, W. H. Saunders, F. Taplin, D. McKenzie, H. K. Smith, L. Meredith. Every shooter who competed also received a trophy. The committee expresses its thanks to those club members and also the following who provided trophies: —J. A. Betts Ltd, H.
