NUMEROUS ARRESTS MADE.
DEATH AND LONG-TERM SENTENCES.

A military investigation commission has discovered an enormous Fascist espionage ring in Catalonia, preparing for major warlike operations after stationing spies in the mountains and towns.
The authorities have arrested two lieutenant-colonels, several doctors, lawyers and priests and two hundred others.
Many persons have been sentenced to death and two hundred have been sentenced to twenty years’ imprisonment.
