FASCISM IN RUMANIA
FORMATION OF NEW PARTV HEADED BY PRESENT PREMIER. TOTALITARIAN REGIME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) BUCHAREST, December 15. Rumania has moved in the direction of creating a totalitarian regime by forming a single, official party, entitled the Union of National Rebirth. The founders include five former members of the suppressed Peasant Party, five former Liberals and five former members of the anti-Semitic group. Miron Cristea, the Patriarch of Rumania and present Premier, will probably head the party, which closely resembles the Nazi and Fascist organisations. It will be the only recognised political party. All Government officials must join.
