The bride, who wore a long gown of ivory satin, entered the church escorted by her only brother, Mr C. Thomas. Her veil was held in place by a circlet of orange blossom and she carried a pink and white bouquet. Miss Ivy Thomas, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid, and she wore a shell pink frock with puff sleeves, and a bandeau of pink flowers in her hair.
Mr F. Hockey, of Nelson, ably carried out the duties of best man.

FINLAYSON—PA LAM ONTA IN. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St Matthew’s Anglican Church on Saturday last, the contracting parties being Beatrice Joyce, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Their frocks were of mauve chiffon, with fan-pleat-ed skirts and shirred bodices. They wore small bolepo coats, edged with shirring and carried bouquets of sweet peas, stock, roses and carnations.
