Electrical brain waves that point the way to the causes of. epilepsy were studied at the new laboratory at McGill University, the only laboratory of its kind in the world. By means of an electric paleograph, brain impulses are amplified many times and recorded, disclosing the parts of the brain giving rise to epilepsy. It is a valuable guide to physicians prior to surgery.
