PARIS TALKS
SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION GERMAN POLICY AND SPAIN. CONSIDERATION OF AIR PACT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, November 22. The Australian Associated Press says the proposed German motor highway across Czechoslovakia meant a last-minute addition to the agenda of the Paris talks. An invaluable opening is now provided for a German drive eastward. It is understood that, while it was realised to be inevitable that Germany would take full advantage of the Munich agreement, such an early announcement of the extension of her plans surprised Britain and France. The Paris “Soir” declares that the most important subjects on the agenda are relations with Germany and the Spanish civil war. Others include the future of the League of Nations, relations between Syria and Palestine, German refugees, British and French Army and Air Force co-operation, and Ihe possibility of an air pact with Germany.
