TWO THOUSAND LIVES LOST CHINESE RELIEF EFFORTS. JAPANESE ADVANCING. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) CHUNGKING. November 20. Two thousand persons perished in the five-day fire which gutted Changsha The Chinese Government is financing the relief of refugees. Police have returned to maintain order. Relief workers are supervising the burial of the dead and aiding the destitute. The Japanese are advancing on Changsha and Sianyang.
