DR A. G. HALL’S FINAL ADDRESS GATHERING IN Y.M.C.A. HALL LAST EVENING There was another large attendance at the Y.M.C.A. Hall last evening to hear the final address by the Rev Alfred G. Hall D.D., Ph.D., director-gen-eral of the World Fellowship of Faith and service. The meeting was in the form of a class study on the subjects of: “The true nature of the sacrament of forgiveness and its psychological effect; the science of modern prayer and the relationship that is thereby set up between God and Man,” the science of divine healing, and the creation of lasting prosperity by the practice of spiritual law.” Dr Hall dealt with his subject matter in a simple yet powerful and convincing manner, and was followed with the closest attention. In moving a vote of thanks to Dr Hall, Mr Ben Roberts, M.P., expressed appreciation of his wonderful presentation of the message of love, peace and security on earth by the practice of the principles laid down by Jesus Christ. In acknowledging the vote, Dr Hall, said his visit had been a very pleasant one. He thanked many friend|s for their help, and said he hoped to visit Masterton again in 1940. Dr Hall also held a very well attended meeting in the afternoon.
