ORDER OF DRUIDS

MASTERTON LODGE MEETS. The fortnightly meeting of the Druids’ Lodge was held in Masterton last night the A.D., Bro A. E. Levick presiding, ( A motion of sympathy with, the relatives of the late Bro J. Walker was passed, the members standing in silence. The Grand Secretary forwarded a circular with reference to the Social Security Act, a copy of which will be forwarded to all members.

The secretary reported that he had booked the new Y.M.C.A. Hall for December 17 on which date the Christmas Tree function will be held.

A report was received on a recent meeting pf the United Friendly Societies’ Dispensary Board. Eight members declared on the sick benefit of the lodge and all were reported to be progressing favourably. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £ll 16s 5d were passed for payment.
