TIRAUMEA
TENNIS SEASON OPENED. (“Times-Age” Special.) In beautiful weather the Tiraumea Tennis Club held its opening day during the weekend. Although the attendance was not very large, those present had a most enjoyable day. Lunch was partaken'in the Tiraumea Hall and afternoon tea was enjoyed in picnic fashion under the shade of the trees. Personal. Mr and Mrs V. Everingham and Mr D. Everingham, Wellington, were the guests of Mr and Mrs H. Hansen for the weekend. Miss Z. Stephens, Pahiatua, visited Mrs N. M. Hislop for the weekend. Mrs Houlbrooke, Senr., has returned home from her holiday. Jack Hansen and Keith Raleigh were home for the weekend from Wellington College. Mr G. K. Claris, Makomako, was the guest of Mr ana Mrs N. M. Hislop for the weekend.
