CONCERT AND DANCE. ("Times-Age” Special.) A crowded house greeted the Kopuaranga Social Club members when *he curtain was raised for their concert on Tuesday evening. The programme was as follows: —■ Pianoforte solo, Miss M. Clarke: solos. Miss T. Ruby and Mr Mann (accompanied by Mrs Morton); vocal quartette, Misses R. and L. Westhead, L. Fenemor, E Jassett, accompanied by Miss Wright; recitation, Miss M. Cottle; mouth organ solo, Mr R. Donald; "Madam Tussaud’s Wax Works” - Madam Tussaud, Miss M. Kane; Little Nell, Miss E. Jarrett; Sarah Gamp, Mrs Jarrett; Cowboy, Miss L. Fenemor;Poyeye, Master Donald McKeown; Hungarian table tennis players, Miss R. Westhead, Mrs Reside; Sylvia Pankhurst, Mrs Miller. Play, "The Green Monkey”: Bruce, L. Donald; Billy, J. Hewitt; Mrs Jones, Mrs Evans; Cynthia. Miss Kenny; Lady Raymond, . Miss Wright; Jones, Mrs Jarrett. Play, ‘‘The Family Group”: Photographer, J. A dainty home-made supper was handed round after the concert and dancing was indulged in till one o’clock. The Social Club was well rewarded in its effort to raise funds for hall improvements.

The competition for a Christmas cake was won by Douglas McKenzie.
