No country is safe from aggression, the Minister of Justice (Mr E. Lapointe) told the Ontario section of the League of Nations Society. They often heard the declaration that Canada was safe through its geographical situation. Modern armament had changed all that. Certain countries would greatly like Canada’s rich lands and defences must be built up to retain them.
