SIMULTANEOUS OPERATIONS REMOVAL OF TONSILS AND ADENOIDS By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. MONTREAL, November 7. A message from Callander, Ontario, states that the Dionne quintuplets will undergo simultaneous operations on Wednesday for the removal of tonsils and adenoids. They were removed to the Dafoe Hospital tonight. Dr Dafoe stated that the operations were planned to stop the babies having colds this winter.
All 10 operations are to be carried out under a general anaesthetic, the chief surgeon of the Toronto Hospital supervizing several surgeons and nurses.
