GOVERNMENT SUPPORTERS SWEEP POLLS By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. WARSAW, November 8. As a result of the. general election, the National Unity Party, the Government’s principal supporters, gained 170 out of the 208 seats in the Lower House. The Jews won’ five seats, the Ukranian several, and the Germans none. Colonel Slawek, former Speaker of the House, lost his seat. General Zeligowski, captor of Vilna in 1919, beat General Skwarszynski by 2000 votes. All the women candidates were beaten. The Premier, M. Slawoj Skladkowski, and the Vice-Premier, M. Kwiatkowski, were re-elected. M Skladkowski declares that he is satisfied with the result.
