GREYTOWN
BOWLING CLUB RINKS. BOOTH CUP AND SHIELD. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Bowling Club has decided to enter four rinks in the Booth Cup competition and one rink for the Duthie Shield. The club has decided to fall into line with other clubs and start all games at 1.30 p.m. Croquet Club Meets. Mrs R. G. Vile presided at the monthly meeting of the Greytown Croquet Club yesterday afternoon, It was decided to hold the official opening of the greens on Saturday, November 19. Providing the weather permits one green will be open for play on Saturday next. The secretary, Mrs A. M. Haigh, reported that several new members had been proposed. Personal. Mr and Mrs H. T. Rees, of .McMaster Street, will leave on Thursday for Hawera, where they will spend a holiday with their son, Mr C. Rees. Mrs D. P. Loasby, of Udy Street, was called to Palmerston North yesterday on account of the illness of her son, Mr L. Loasby.
