TWO MEN DEAD
TRAPPED IN AUCKLAND FIRE.
TWO OTHERS IN HOSPITAL.

Two men are dead and two others are in hospital as a result of a fire in a small wooden boardipg housg in Grey’s Avenue, in the city, in which they were trapped last night. The dead are Jack McDonald, about 56, who died on his way to hospital, and' John Jennings Hiley,a single man aged 72, who died this morning from burns, suffocation and shock-
Those in hospital are Thomas McKenna, condition fair, and A. Alcock, condition improved.
The dead, men were identified this morning by two fellow-boarders.
