WEDDING

WILLIS-OLSEN The wedding took place on Wednesday evening at the Methodist Church, Pahiatua, of Florence (Molly), elder daughter of Mr and Mrs A. O. Olsen. Masterton Road, and Rupert, youngest son of the late Mr John Willis, of Hamua, and Mrs Willis, Cambridge Street, Pahiatua. The Rev W. E. Moore was the officiating minister and the organist was Mr P. R. Boagey. The church was attractively decorated by friends of the bride with masses of guelder roses and arum lilies, and a beautiful wedding bell was suspended above the bridal pair. The bride who was escorted by her father, wore a charming gown of magnolia lace over gleaming satin of the same shade, with a spray of lilies-of-the-valley at the neckline. The dress was slightly trained, and the sleeves were trimmed with rows of tiny buttons. Hex- long tulle veil, which was lent by a friend, was held in place with a coronet of pearls, and she carried a bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley.

The bridesmaid, Miss Meryl Olsen, sister of the bride, was dressed in lettuce green lace over satin, with gold sandals. She wore a necklace of rock crystals, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried a bouquet of gold ranunculus with . flowers ‘in her hair to match. The.flower girl, Ngaira Olsen, niece of the bride, wore a sweet frilled frock c|f shell pink crepe-de-chine, with a wreath of tiny rosebuds and a gold armlet, the gift of the bridegroom.

The best man was Mr Henry Harris, of Woodville.
