PONGAROA

FANCY DRESS DANCE SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION , ("Times-Age” Special) The children’s annual fancy dress dance, held by the Anglican Ladies' Guild, took place last Friday evening, and proved a success. Many and varied were the costumes worn by the children, who had the floor until 10 p.m.. when, after the grand march, they were served with a dainty sit-down supper.

There was a fair attendance of adults who danced until midnight, music being supplied by Misses D. and E. Kent and Mr Campbell. A euchre tournament held during the evening was won by Mr D. McDonald, and Miss R. McDonald.
