FAT LAMBS

EXPORT PRICES FARMERS DISAPPOINTED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, November 3. Considerable disappointment was expressed’ by Waikato fat lamb producers this morning at the opening export schedule price of BJd a pound for firstgrade lambs. The lambing percentage in the Waikato this season has been estimated at not more than 50 per cent, compared with 95 per cent last year. Producers will lose many thousands of pounds because of the lower percentage, and an additional loss will be represented by the lower prices indicated for the season.
