HOLSTEIN ACCORDED WORLD RECORD. HAMILTON (Ontario), November 2. A world record is officially accorded Alice Alcarta, a three-year-old Holstein, which produced 24,460 pounds of milk making 916 pounds of butter, in 365 days and 22,227 pounds of milk (816 pounds of butter) in 306 days.
