DONALD MEMORIAL FONT.

(“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the Presbyterian Church yesterday morning when the Donald Memorial Font was used for the first time. Three baby girls were'baptised by the Rev D. McNeur of Lansdowne, Masterton. Football Dance. The first annual dance of the Cross Creek Football Club took place on Saturday night at Cross Creek when there was a very good attendance. During the evening Mr W. Jeffrey presented the cup won by the Club last season. Mr H. Benge on behalf of the Club received the-cup and expressed thanks to Mr Jeffrey, donor of the cup. Competition dancing was held, Mr and Mrs Benge winning the Monte Carlo. Personals. Mr A. L. Edwards, Wellington, is the guest of Mr and Mrs A. W. Edwards, Fitzherbert Street. The many friends of Mr S. Murphy will regret to hear that he is ill.
