PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Nan Ussher of Wellington visited her home over the weekend. Misses Jean and Margaret Cochrane, of Wellington, visited their parents at the weekend. Mr R. C. Anderson underwent an operation in the Tiri Hospital yesterday afternoon. He is making favourable progress towards recovery.

Girl Guides’ Sports.

The Featherston and Martinborough Girl Guides competed in sports on the local golf links on Saturday afternoon. Featherston won by 9 points to 3.

Mrs D. H. S. Riddiford presented Margaret Foss with ,a silver cup for the Featherston Guides.
