SALE OF WORK TOMORROW. St Matthew’s Parish Hall will be transformed in appearance tomorrow when the annual Church of England sale of work will open at 10 a.m. Bright and attractive stalls, laden with useful and beautiful goods will encircle the hall and those who buy will be helping in a practical way their church as well as themselves. Plain and fancy ’work, novelties, sweets, toys, books, produce, preserves, cakes, etc, will be on sale and afternoon tea will be available. The proceeds of the sale will be devoted to the church’s work and the Guild .members who have worked so hard in preparation are deserving of the fullest support tomorrow. The sale will close at 5 p.m.
